Texas opened with a 6-3 loss to Tennessee, but has been rolling since, taking down Mississippi State and Nebraska before getting a shot at redemption against the Volunteers in the semifinal. Texas swept the two games there to advance to the finals, where the team will look for its second consecutive championship.
